There are many speculations as to what is the best way to ward off a panic attack. One person might tell you that it’s medication, another person might say that meditation. The truth is that this will vary from person to person. You have to find your own technique that brings the best results for you.

However, before you go trying to find a way to ward off panic attacks, it may help to try and figure out what is causing them in the first place. After all, warding off panic attacks without getting to the root cause means you’re just treating the symptoms — not the actual problem. Your panic attack may come back and you’ll forever be trying to prevent that from happening. If you get to the root cause first, you may never again have to deal with worrying about how anxiety messes up your life.
